Kees Wesselink - Schram

My name is Kees Wesselink-Schram and I am one of the editors at Science Stories. With a background in biology and experience in science communication, I help to bring research from the University of Twente to the public’s attention in an accessible way.

I love talking to researchers and turning complex topics into engaging stories. In my series ‘Kees Studies’, I do this by trying things out for myself: stepping into the wind tunnel, climbing onto the asphalt roller. If there’s something I don’t understand, I simply show it.

I write for readers who would never visit a science website of their own accord. Sometimes I take a story further than the research allows. Researchers who call me out on this are actually doing me a favour.
